Hotels Allowing People To Meet And Interact

Hotels are establishments offering accommodation, meals and other services to its customers who come for different purpose for short or long term. They can be situated in cities or in the country side or around the beaches, in games reserves. The place where they are situated determines the type of clientele to be targeted. For example beach establishments and game reserves are for vacations while city and country ones are for business people.

There are many important services that take place in this establishment. There are waiters, bar attendants, receptionist, gardeners, swimming pool attendants, laundry and others. For an hotel to perform at high standards these group of workers have to work as team and deliver. A waiter will not perform well if the napkins and table clothes have not been washed properly by the laundry workers, or guest will not enjoy swimming if the pools are not well cleaned.

A one star hotel only provide what the guest has ordered plus accommodation, meals might be served away from the hotel like in a nearby restaurant. A 2 star hotel will offer comfortable and restaurant services, but does not offer room service. 3 star category have restaurant services like breakfast, lunch and dinner. Other extras like swimming pool, room service and parking are provided. 4 star offers excellent restaurant services, well decorated room and a green landscaped garden. 5 star offers high level of service and hospitality, rooms that are highly decorated with design of beauty and elegance. In some large establishments they have different restaurants that can address each individual who is accommodated there. One can find certain kind of food in a restaurant and another in a second restaurant while a third and fourth one will start have different menu. We all come from different traditions and some foods that are common in one area might not be in another, the idea here is to reach each and person's kind of meal.

People attending conferences and other international meetings prefer holding them in city hotels, where accessibility is fast and convenient. These functions need punctuality and if the hotel is out of city, it might be hectic, other delays can be brought about by traffic jams in many cities. Where such meetings are held a lot of extras are needed like conference rooms with well arranged sitting arrangement, materials to use, speakers and translating devices.

Some of this establishments provide transport for their clients coming in and leaving. If an individual is arriving in a particular hotel and they picking spot is at an airport then the hotel will make arrangements for them to be picked and same when departing. Many do not charge for this service as it is a way of attracting more customers or keeping those that are already there.

Tourists hotels are usually busy during festive seasons as most families want to take their holidays at this time. Arrangements are made by the hotel to give extras like a bottle of wine, flowers in the rooms and Christmas carols.

Hotels are a wonderful place to be especially with the family. Getting away from that usual place and avoiding cooking for sometime can be pleasant.
