With Its Numerous Group Activities St Louis Attracts Millions Of Visitors Each Year

Missouri is certainly one of the biggest tourist attractions in the United States. It simply has everything. It boast extraordinarily beautiful natural areas, many species of wildlife, the majestic Mississippi river and so many things to do and to see that it becomes a problem to choose. The road networks are excellent, there are many overnight facilities that will suit almost any budget and visitors are always made to feel welcome. By offering so many group activities St Louis certainly attract its fair share of tourists each year.

Groups love visiting this city because there is just so much for them to do together. Schools, companies on team building exercises and social groups all visit the city right throughout the year. There are numerous things to do but there are even professional team building consultants that can design custom programs that will perfectly suit the needs of all groups.

The year round excellent weather is one of the reasons why outdoor adventures are so popular. Visiting groups are truly spoilt for choice. Popular attractions such as Go Ape allows groups to explore awe inspiring natural forests from zip lines strung across the top of the canopy. There are also many trails for hikers, bikers and horse riding enthusiasts. Another extremely popular destination is Grants Farm. This former presidential estate is now home to more than one hundred species of wildlife.

Groups should definitely not miss a visit to the City Museum. This awe inspiring 600 000 square feet exhibit area was created by engineers and artists and everything on display are made from recycled materials and other artefacts from the city. There is so much to see and do in this museum that it would be best to schedule an entire day. Visitors interact with the exhibits and can crawl through magical caves, explore chimney stacks and slide ten storeys down a special chute.

Younger people particularly enjoy The Magic House. This educational facility is all but boring. It boasts a unique Bubble Room and a pin point wall that allows visitors to create 3D images of themselves. The Lewis and Clark Adventure has been designed to educate visitors of all ages in a fun way. There is even a real giant beanstalk to climb, just like Jack did.

No visit to this city without a boat trip on the grand Mississippi will be complete. Companies such as Gateway Arch Riverboats will spoil their guests with a lazy and leisurely ride down the river while a knowledgeable guide will inform them about the history of the surrounds. Most visitors are in awe of the giant Gateway Arch, the biggest and highest man made tribute in the country.

Lovers of sport will be delighted. Visitors can enjoy every imaginable sport and then even some they never new existed. Clubs generally welcome visitors and some even rent out equipment. There are numerous world class golf courses and an absolute abundance of water sports. Those that want to try something new, like paragliding, can enjoy the activity after a few basic lessons.

There can be no doubt that this city is one of the jewels of not just Missouri, but the entire country. It seems to offer anything anybody could possibly hope for. However, because it is so popular, visitors will be well advised to book their accommodation, tours and activities well ahead of time.
