Social Smoking

People generally smoke hookah in a social gathering where they can have the company of their friends and family. Hookahs grew popular in the Middle Eastern countries quickly and these smoking devices rapidly became an important part of all eating and drinking establishments. One can easily find hookahs in night clubs, smoking parlors, hookah bars as well as homes nowadays.

The smoke from shisha has a calming impact on the smoker, which is one of the main factors why it became popular rapidly. People smoke hookah in social gatherings with the primary purpose of socializing with friends and not out of addiction. On the other hand cigarette for starters, has a very bad smell and smokers generally smoke cigarette out of addiction. A cigarette undoubtedly lasts no longer than 5 minutes and a shisha lasts for more than one hour, but the latter isn't addictive.

Getting the Most Flavor from Your Hookah

To get the most from your hookah you don't need much, but just some good common sense and a sound sense of discipline. If you are a hookah owner then you should make it a habit of cleaning your hookah regularly After each smoking session you should wash your hookah. It is advisable to wash hookah with warm water than with cold water.

Regarding specific tactics, it's critical to prevent the charcoal from burning the tobacco mid-session. Prepare the bowl so as to prevent the tobacco from becoming stuck to the foil or screen; in fact, try not to allow the tobacco to touch the foil in any way. When you're packing the bowl, leave a few millimeters between the top of your tobacco and the plane created by the rim of the bowl. Then, when you wrap the foil taught around the head, you'll naturally have the desired amount of space required to prevent the dreaded burn. Placing two toothpicks on top of the tobacco in a cross is a good way to prevent the foil from touching the tobacco. Tobacco should not be packed down too tightly in the bowl. Rather, loosely pile it into a nice mound allowing the air to flow through the mound. Doing so, you'll be able to get a flavorful hit without needing to strongly puff on the hose. If desired you may also use two sheets of aluminum foil to help prevent against overheating. Don't burn the shisha and you will be able to enjoy a smooth and long session of smoking.
