A Look at Kemer

If you are planning to go on a Turkey holiday, you might want to stop by the province of Kemer where you will find long stretches of beaches and a panoramic view of the Mediterranean. This town also have rich cultural heritage as well. If you are looking for a peaceful vacation, the quiet town of Kemer will give you just that.

The seaside town has a lot of interesting structures built around centuries ago. You will find a lot of ruins. Those who are quite outdoorsy will find a lot of places to explore. They have a lot of pine forests and also the enthralling backdrop of the Taurus Mountains. You can also spend time on the beaches which also get a year round of sun exposure.

Located in Southwestern Turkey, this province is only 13 feet above sea level which will explain the frequent flooding some time ago. The walls where constructed therefore to protect the province from the onslaught of the water. The walls though do not prevent the salty smell of the sea and the sea breeze from going in to the province.

There are a lot of European influences in this p[province but most can be attributed to the Ottoman Empire. You will find that you can explore a lot of ruins and also architectural designs that show the different ages of Turkey.

You will find that the city also has an interesting side at night. Aside from the view of the beaches at night, there are a lot of bars and nightclubs that make a sufficient party scene at night. With a visit in Kemer you can enjoy peaceful days and lively nights.
