Visit One Of Europe's Popular Fairs - Christmas Fair in Budapest

The Hungary Christmas Fair, one of the most popular fairs in Europe, is held at Vörösmarty Square Market Place from November 19th to December 29th. This place is located in the middle of Budapest and visiting Budapest during this fair is an experience one will never forget.

Tourists and residents love to come and see what the gift shops, every shop of or stands in the festival have quality folk and art products. All of the products that are sold at the Christmas Fair are hand-band, the Hungarian Society of folk art; goes through great lengths to make sure the products are at the highest qualities.

Visitors to the Christmas Fair in Budapest will have the opportunity to sample the many entertainments the city offers. Whether experiencing a traditional Hungarian Folk performance, or a cruise on the Danube, with dinner and a classical musical concert, you will be delighted by the city of Budapest.

There is a live Bethlehem that comes with a crib and live animals between December 21st and 23rd. This always surprises visitors. There is also a Christmas tree decorating contest which visitors can take part.

One of the best reasons to go to the Christmas Fair is to get a taste of the mouth watering Hungarian food. Traditional Hungarian food includes cakes, strudel, grilled sausages and cookies all done at Christmas and with amazing taste. Of these mouth watering delight, the oldest and on of the most famous is the langos which is baked in clay ovens. Trying to keep the traditions alive is the Gerbeaud Cafe who delights the tourist with their delicious coffees and cakes.

Budapest’s Christmas Fair is a favorite time to visit for Europeans and tourists. Regardless of where what a person is doing, the fair has so many options to choose from, that it makes it impossible not to enjoy during the celebrate of Christmas Fair there is no way anyone will ever get bored on their visit.
