Families Often Seek World Travel Advice

By Javier Mcnear

Obtaining world travel advice is important for individuals who have never traveled abroad. Some places that once were regarded as hot spots for visitors are now embroiled in war or poverty, and thus are not ideal for the average family to visit. Seeking guidance from an agent is probably a good idea, especially if one does not have the time to do a lot of independent research.

One issue that not every traveler is familiar with are the economic problems which have been visited upon both Iceland and Greece. Unfortunately Greece is still struggling at this time, and there have been reports of food riots taking place. Hopefully Greece will see a recovery in the next few years, and their doors will be reopened to the tourists who long to visit.

The Icelanders have gone a long way towards a total economic recovery, having refused any banker funded bail outs. They completely liquidated the government that was in control at the time of their collapse, and have sought to recover economically without foreign intervention. As a result, they have their doors wide open to international tourists.

Right now Iceland is a great place to see, especially in the summer. With their newly reorganized economic system, one can travel to this country for less than it would cost to visit other places. The people of Iceland welcome tourists with open arms, as a thriving tourism industry is part of their recovery plan. In Iceland one can visit the largest nature conservation park on the planet.

As everyone knows, the Middle East and North Africa are quite enmeshed in political upheaval. Even with the chaos of their neighbors, the nation of Saudi Arabia still encourages visitors from all over to come see the wonders of the Arabian peninsula. There are a number of artificial island paradises they have created, or visitors can stay at the mile-high hotel which was recently completed.

For the time being, those who wish to visit the Far East might want to avoid Japan, who is still recovering after the earthquake and tsunami. Vietnam encourages visitors from all over, as does Thailand. China still has a great tourism program for those who wish to see The Great Wall and visit Beijing or even Hong Kong.

Anyone who seeks world travel advice will discover the many options available which they might not have considered. Some of these exotic locations offer a great adventure, not to mention an opportunity to learn history and culture. Keeping an open mind to unexpected destinations can result in the vacation of a lifetime.
