Whether it's Las Vegas for Super Bowl, March Madness, or any other day of sports betting, most everyone has a favorite spot to watch and bet sports in Las Vegas. While some Vegas visitors will simply place a sports or horse racing bet at the hotel they are staying at for convenience, others will scope out which sports book has the best HD screens, most open seating, or perhaps the most lenient free drink policy.
The Vegas Parlay - The Las Vegas Sports Book Blog presents its annual list of the top Las Vegas sports books. Both strip and off-strip properties are included in our 5 Best Sports Books in Las Vegas. Did your favorite make the list?
5. VENETIAN Swanky seating areas and high-end crystal clear screens all set within the elegance of the Venetian makes this sports book one of the best in Las Vegas. This is one of the nicest of all of the Cantor-operated sports books in town and gets quite a crowd during NFL Sundays and other big sports days so be an early bird in order to get a good seat. The only Cantor operated sports book to make our Top 5 list, there are no free drinks here, but that is the only negative to an otherwise beautiful and classy sports book
4. BELLAGIO The oversized leather captain's chairs, easy free drinks, multiple screens, what is there not to like? The Bellagio sports book gives you that quiet pleasure that's inflected into the sports book space and this spot is one of the best in town for watching and betting sports. Whether it's horse racing or another sporting event, The Bellagio is as good as it gets when it comes to Las Vegas sports books.
3. SOUTH POINT Not just a "locals" hang out any longer, the secret is out that the South Point property caters to sports and horse racing players. This is the only Vegas sports book that is set up with completely separate areas for horse racing and sports betting - and each space is as large as most sports books in town. Free drinks here are easy, and the adjacent Del Mar Lounge adds to the options for sports viewing. The 75-cent Vienna hot dog cart is also a plus.
2. LVH Not only the largest sports book in Las Vegas, but the largest sport book in the world, The LVH is in the top echelon of sports books in Sin City. All levels of sports bettors are catered to, whether it's the comped drinks or the "man-cave" areas reserved for VIPs - there is something for everyone here. Whether you bet on sports, watch sports, or both, a visit to the viewing parties in the 1500+ seat LVH Theater is a must-do. A great sports viewing experience for sure, The LVH is one of the best in town.
1. THE WYNN An enjoyable and classy locale best describes The Wynn sports book, which is ranked No. 1 in their year's The Vegas Parlay's Top 5 list. Great service, plush furnishings, and a beautifully decorated sports book space is certainly up to The Wynn's first class standards. In a touch of old school Vegas, The Wynn is the only sports book that provides a hostess during busy periods to assist in finding you a seat within the sports book. Also, the connected Zoozacrackers Deli will bring their delicious food offerings right to your seat in the sports book. The Wynn is the best in town.
Other great Las Vegas sports books just missing the list are Aria, Caesar's Palace, and Lagasse's Stadium at Pallazzo. Complete reviews of the sports books listed above as well as other Las Vegas sports books can be found at The Vegas Parlay - The Las Vegas Sports Book Blog.
