There are weirs, a cascading fountain that is spectacular, and spectacular plants. Over 15,000 plants from over the world inhabit the gardens and there are secret gardens throughout where you can escape and enjoy the wildlife and beauty in solitude for a while. The project is ever-evolving and you will find new additions to this fabulous garden each time you visit.

There are some special places to visit that you will not find on most tourist maps. At the top of Falcon's Rest and the bus station you will find the Scary House. This home was built sometime in the 1820s and is a stunning piece of architecture. It is a private home so you will only be able to see the outside, but it is such a glorious reflection of early architecture that you will want to see it.

There are several pubs in town. A great place for lunch is the Plough on Bondgate Without. John Bull's on Howick Street has award winning ales that you will greatly enjoy. There are so many things to do and events going on throughout the year that you will be busy during your entire holiday. It takes about two hours to walk through the Abbey Gardens which are faced by the Abbey Gates. The Gates were build re-built in 1353 and are maintained beautifully. Motorcycle Riders Divided Can Not Ride !!!

Many of the "facts" in this story are based on Legend and Myth as much of the history of the Motorcycle and it's Culture was lost in the Great Rebellion of 2057.

Taken from a history book in the year 2095... Motorcycles And The Culture They Inspire 1868-2017

Motorcycles started out as steam engines strapped on to bicycles in 1868. Soon after the gas engine took its place and by the 1900's there were Motorcycle shops and Dealers all over the World. For awhile, Motorcycle's were simply used as transportation. In 1907, when Henry Fords, Ford Motor Company, released the Model-T at a price many could afford, the Motorcycle soon went from a necessity to a luxury item.

In the 1940's, the Motorcycle Culture really took off. An organization called the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) held races and events all over the United States of America. In 1947 the AMA held an event in Hollister California. This event was attended by many of the AMA Racing Teams and Motorcycle Clubs. This event marks the beginning of the separation of Motorcyclists which eventually led to the end of Motorcycling in the year 2017. Newspapers, being what they where in 1947, got a hold of some pictures of Motorcyclists having fun at the event. The press decided to embellish the facts and transformed the story into a torrid tale of Bikers taking over a small town! More negative news stories soon followed. Soon after Hollywood began releasing movies that portrayed Motorcyclists as lawless and evil.

The American Motorcyclist Association, trying to end the bad press, responded by basically saying that the Newspapers had lied and that it was only 1% of the Motorcyclists that caused problems. This resulted in the first ripple in the Unity of the Motorcycle World and the Medias' hatred of Bikers. Around the same time, the AMA began adding new requirements for motorcycles to be able to race in AMA sanctioned Races. Those whose motorcycles didn't meet the new AMA requirements started their own Race Leagues. Because the new Race Leagues/Clubs were not AMA sanctioned, they soon became known as Outlaw Race Leagues/Clubs. Although many Bikers raced in both the AMA and Outlaw Leagues, another great separation had begun.

By the late 1960's, the separation of the Motorcycle Community was becoming more evident. There were now three basic Motorcycle groups. The American Motorcycle Association, Outlaw/ 1%er Clubs(All 1%ers were Outlaws, but not all Outlaws were considered 1%ers) and Independent Riders. Over the years, the AMA continued to grow. In addition to racing, they began to champion Motorcycle Rights and Safety. As time went on, others formed independent groups whose goals were similar to that of the AMA. The inability or outright refusal of these groups to work together with each other, resulted in further separation of the Motorcycle Community and Culture.

In the 1970's, rifts began to grow between some of the Outlaw/1% Clubs. By the 1990's, the media had inflated these conflicts into stories that rivaled the tall tales of the old west. These tall tales where ment to invoked fear of the Outlaw/1% Clubs in the public. Everyone was lied to,. They were told to stay away from and fear all Outlaw/1% Clubs. The media began referring to Motorcycle Clubs as Motorcycle Gangs, a term meant to further instill fear into the heart of the Public. Stories and rumors began surfacing, claiming these "Gangs" were ruthless and would kill or maim people for little or no reason at all. By the early 21st Century, every minor conflict between Outlaw/1% Clubs was made into a book, made for TV movie, or docudrama. Titles like "Motorcycle Gang Wars In Your Back Yard" were common. Although real wars, conflicts, and suffering were occurring worldwide, the Corporate owned media chose to report fiction over fact.

In 2009, a conflict between two rival Clubs was captured on Video at a "Biker Build Off" event. The coverage by the media and negative publicity that followed was so overwhelming that in 2010, the United States Government passed a law banning all Outlaw/1% Clubs. In response, the Outlaw/1% Clubs put aside their differences and formed "Bikers United". The Bikers fought back stating the law was unconstitutional and un-American. Even as late as 2010, Many Americans still clung to the misguided belief that they had rights and lived in a free Nation. The Bikers fought hard and came very close to winning, but without the support of the Motorcycle Rights Groups,The many other Clubs, and the Independent Riders, all of whom had been brainwashed into believing the Outlaw Clubs were criminal organizations, they were defeated.

Many of the Outlaw/1% Clubs tried to stay together. The Clubs went underground, but after many raids and constant Government harassment, they all but disappeared. In 2013, in an effort to ensure that the Outlaw/1% Clubs never returned, the Government decided to outlaw all Motorcycle Clubs and organizations. The AMA, the many Clubs and Motorcycle Rights Organizations United in an effort to battle the Governments oppression. They tried to use many of the same tactics and strategies that the Outlaw/1% Clubs used. Unfortunately, the Government was much smarter and stronger this time around. They had learned many lessons in their fierce battles with the Outlaw/1% Clubs, and they used what they had learned against the united Clubs and Organizations. With no Outlaw/1% Clubs left to assist them and without the support of the Independent Riders, the United Clubs and Organizations were defeated.

In 2015, the Government passed a law that made it illegal to even look like an Outlaw on a Motorcycle. The Independent Riders banned together to try and fight the law, but by this time their numbers were few and there wasn't anyone left to show them how to fight for their rights. After a brief protest, they too were soundly defeated. In 2017, What was now a "Global Government", in its infinite wisdom, decided that Motorcycles posed a danger to the public. They passed a law banning the manufacturing of Motorcycle's and their use! They ordered that all existing Motorcyclesbe destroyed. This brought to an end, the History of Motorcycles. It would take until the year 2093 before anything even close to resembling a Motorcycle reappeared.

As a Historian looking back at the History of Motorcycles and the Culture it created, it amazes me how powerful the Motorcycle Culture could have been had they not let every little thing separate them. Instead of embracing something they all had in common and working together to protect it, they instead let their differences, the media, and the government divide them. By the time the Bikers realized how much they were connected and needed each other, it was too late. Their numbers were certainly sufficient to achieve victory, but their failure to come together as Brothers and Sisters and work for the common good ultimately caused their demise. Had they been victorious, it may have been enough to stop all of the oppression and tyranny that soon followed. History is full of stories just like this one, over and over again. The ones who love and honor Freedom the most are taken down first and the rest soon fall like dominoes. Until the Great Rebellion of 2057, we as a Global Society did not realize how important it was to put aside our differences. It may have taken awhile, but we finally figured it out...Just in time!

A Holiday In Ipswich - Suffolk

Home to a beautiful waterfront, Ipswich - Suffolk is a stunning town that is a great place to go an enjoy a relaxed holiday that is filled with some fabulous activities.

One of the first Victorian Breweries in the UK is located in Ipswich. The Tolly Cobbold Brewery building is a beautiful example of architecture and reflects many of the buildings that were built by the Cobbold family in the town. Since 2002, the brewery has been open to the public at times and closed so you won't know until you get there if you will be able to see the fabulous museum that houses machinery and artifacts of early Victorian brewing.

Most of the parks in England are very well maintains and provide acres of Victorian gardens, glass houses, and spectacular statuary and ponds. Holywells Park offers all of this in it's 67 acres, but also a wonderful forest that has paths meandering through a stunning landscape.

Very few places house the beautiful Victorian dollhouses and toys that were popular during Victorian times. The Georgian Salon in Christchurch Mansion is home to an abundance of beautifully maintained dollhouses with the intricate fixtures and furniture popular during that period. The mansion is also home to a great museum and several unique specialty shops.

The beautiful fifteen square mile Christchurch Park provides you with a wonderful experience right in the Centre of Town. Archaeologists have found that it contains a medieval cemetery and was one part of the grounds of the Holy Trinity Priory in 1177. The town outgrew the Priory and in the 1300s' St. Margaret's was built and is in use today.

If you love theatre plan on attending the Annual Theatre in the Forest in April. This event is presented by the Red Rose Chain production company of actors and welcomes 8,000 visitors to the outdoor theatre events. The Suffolk Show is held in Trinity Park in June and hosts 80,000 people that enjoy the great livestock exhibits, gardens, children's farms, shops, foods, musical events and much more.

In September the Corn Exchange on King Street is host to the Ipswich Beer Festival. This event is great fun for anyone who enjoys food and beer tasting. There are over 200 beers and ales from throughout the region as well as events, booths, and great activities. Another great and unique event is the annual Woodbridge Horseshow that is held in May. This event has been taking place annually since 1871. This massive show has over 12 rings, 117 classes of horses and great activities that include parades, booth, food, and horses performing in different activities.

The last week of June is the beginning of the Ipswich Arts Festival when the entire town becomes part of the fun and excitement of this great annual event. Dance troupes, visual arts, poetry, music, theatre, events and activities occur on a daily basis throughout the two weeks of the festival.

When planning a holiday at Ipswich - Suffolk, you will find that there is a great number of bistros, cafes, pubs, wonderful hotels, B&Bs, self-catering flats available. Staying here is a splendid way to spend a long or short holiday and enjoy the events and activities that the town has to offer.

Here are the top 10 questions to ask a summer camp director. This list was compiled by the American Camp Association.

1. What's the camp's Purpose?
Is it Sports? Is it Traditional? Os it Science? Are you comfortable with this ? Is it a good fit for your child? Is competition or cooperation emphasized? Do you want religious observances or practices? Try to understand all parts of the program

2. How does the camp recruit, screen and train its staff?
Do counselors have criminal background checks? First aid training? Drug Testing?

3. What about Staff and Camper return rates?

4. What's the ratio of counselors to campers?
ACA guidelines for overnight camps call for a 1:6 ratio for ages 7 and 8, 1:8 for ages 9-14; and 1:10 for ages 15-18. Day camp guidelines call for 1:8 for children ages 6-8; 1:10 for children ages 9-14; and 1:12 for ages 15-18.

5. What's the Staff Ages ?
Eighty percent of the staff be 18 or older and that all staffers be at least 16 and a minimum of two years older than the campers they supervise. Are the staff a paid position or volunteers?

6. Is a Nurse at hand?
The ACA recommends that an sleepaway camps have a physician or nurse on the site daily. If your camper has medications, food allergies or a medical condition, be sure you ask all your questions and are comfortable.

7. How does the camp handle conflicts and Discipline?
Find out what the camp's rules are and what breaches would result in a camper being sent home. You should be comfortable that the camp's practices are in line with your parenting practices.

8. What does a camp Day look like?
This will help you decide if your child will be happy with the level of physical activity or the amount of time devoted to arts and crafts. Ask how much freedom a child has to choose activities.

9. Does the camp have vans for transportation?
How often are camp vehicles inspected? Who will be driving them and what's the training.

10. Ask for references.
Finally and most important, get the names of parents with children the same age who have attended the camp.

You will also be taught about the different air mixes necessary to diving, such as air, nitrox, and trimix. This is important as you will be breathing it undersea. Using the wrong mix when you go deep sea diving can be fatal.

Commercial diving is a promising career that is full of adventure. The pay is one of the best in the world and you will also be able to use hi-tech scuba diving equipment, such as rebreathers, state-of-the-art underwater scooters, underwater radio communications, as well as hi-tech industrial tools.

Ecuador... a country off the radar, offers very cheap retirement living.

Ecuador is not only a cheap place to retire...it is a great place to retire. Many Americans have discovered much to rave about besides the low prices.

Ecuador has a familiar currency, the good old American dollar. Retirees report that the locals are very friendly and have made them feel very welcome in sharing their country. Americans who have retired in Ecuador find that they are quickly absorbed into the local communities.

Most of the times, people have a lot of good ideas for things to do on summer vacations. But it seems like with winter vacations, families aren't as creative. Well, going camping in the snow is actually the first good thing that a family can do. Normally it would be a bad idea to set up a tent and go camping in the snow. A Queensland Holiday Is Filled With History and Fun

Northern Queensland was first visited by Europeans when Captain Cook was forced to berth his damaged ship, the Endeavor, on the coast. The area remained a mystery for almost another 100 years, however until other intrepid Europeans ventured north. These expeditions were perilous and explorers were faced with harsh conditions and hostile Aboriginal tribes. In 1844 Ludwig Leichardt and his group set out from Brisbane to Port Essington but most of the men were killed or wounded by Aborigines. In 1848, Edmund Kennedy led an expedition from Cairns to the top of Cape York. All but two of this party perished including Kennedy who was speared by Aborigines.

Northern Queensland found wealth from the 19th to 20th century due to gold mines in the region. What was once a thriving city was now a one road town. Today most of their wealth comes from tourism. People travel here to stay at a hotel on the coastline or to visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Great Barrier Reef.

The Tree of Knowledge at Barcaldine, in Queensland's Outback region, is the first meeting place of the Australian Labor Party in 1891. In 1895, in the town of Winston, Banjo Paterson wrote Australia's national song Waltzing Matilda". Today the majority of the Outback is known for its agriculture as well as gold, silver and iron mining.

The area north of Cairns is Australians sugar producing country, the cane fields backed by the Great Dividing Range. Northern Queensland is sparsely populated. Cairns are the only city while Port Douglas and Mossman are small towns. The only other villages of note in the region are Daintree and Cooktown. Cape York Peninsula is one of the last untouched wildernesses in the world covering 200,000 sq kms (about the same size of Great Britain) The landscape varies according to the time of year: The wet season November to March makes the landscapes green and the rivers swollen; and during the dry winter the rivers are dry and the countryside is bare and arid.

North of Port Douglas and the outback region require a car, to travel, unless you take part in an organized tour. Cairns, however, offers numerous forms of public with regular air, train and coach connections. They also have an international airport.
